BioCyclist is Austin’s only bike shop selling traditional Dutch Bikes. For some purists, there is much specificity in what makes a “Dutch Bike“. Here at BioCyclist we take a very generalized approach to the term as our focus is on transportation bikes, pure and simple.

Our bikes, whether you are considering a Pashley, Civia or Batavus are beautiful bikes designed to last for years, certainly longer than that Prius in your garage. By and large our bikes are meant to take you back to the time when you rode bikes for fun and when for many this was your only mode of transportation. Our Dutch Bikes are solidly engineered, beautiful in an almost utilitarian way, uncompromised in purpose and just a lot of fun to ride. After all, where’s the race?
